Welcome To My Craft Studio

I want to thank everyone for stopping by my studio. All the photos loaded on this pages are items that I have hand painted and I appreciate any comments or feedback from all my followers. All items are for sale and if you see an item that has been sold already, send me a message and I can make another one for you. You must keep in mind that these items are all hand painted and cannot be duplicated EXACTLY the same. They are not mass produced! Thanks so much for stopping by!
COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER: I did not design most of these myself. The majority of the pieces I paint were originally designed by other artists. Most of them were designed by Gail Anderson, Bonnye Isenhower, and Jamie Mills Price. They are by far my favorite designers and I would like to give credit where it is due. These ladies are unbelievably creative and painters all over the world are so blessed to have ladies like these showing us the way.

Please leave comments for me!

Please feel free to share any comments. I have opinion buttons on the bottom of each post so I can see what everyone likes! Let me know what you think of my work and my prices. And certainly send me a comment or an email if you would like to place an order! At the moment, I can only accept payment by check or money order or if you live close by cash is always and option. I do charge for shipping but I do use Fedex for shipping since they are the most reliable shipping service I have found. Shipping charges are based on actual shipping costs. Once an order is placed I need 7 to 10 days if it is a special order or a remake. I can ship orders once payment has been received. If paying with a personal check I need 7 to 10 days for that payment to clear your bank. Money order purchased can be shipped as soon as your item has been completed.
Thank you all so much for browsing my blog and I really appreciate ANY and ALL comments!

Bible Boxes- $35 SOLD

I painted these a couple of years ago as part of a large order. They are Bible boxes. Very simple and best of all.. my client LOVED them!

Momma and Baby cow wall hanging

I painted this about 20 years ago! I made several of these and they all sold quick! They were usually the first thing to disappear off of my tables at the craft shows! I did this same pattern on wooden toilet seats and sold them for $25 and price was no problem! They all sold like hot cakes! I should do more of these... They would look alot different now!

Floral Jewelry box and Jewelry Bowl and Trash Can set

I painted this set about 15 years ago for a precious little young lady that would babysit my boys for a little while after school. She loved my boys like they were her own brothers and even though she was very young (and her Mom was home next door) she was an awesome babysitter and an awesome person! I grew very close to Kim and she is grown now with children of her own and I still love her dearly! The first picture is terrible but it is the only one I have.. after all .. I am a painter.. not a photographer! HA!

Wooden Goose Easter Eggs

I painted these eggs WAY back in the early to mid 90's. They used to be very popular so when I would see these eggs go on sale I would buy every single one on the shelf! I painted 18 of these over a 2 day period and they sold out the same day I put them up on my display rack! These are tough to come by these days and when I do find them they aren't shaped the same and they are very expensive. I sold them for $15.00 each but don't think I could charge that little for them anymore.

Old Christmas Pieces

These are a few Christmas pieces I did YEARS ago! They are some of my favorites. I still have these patterns and can make them again if you would like to order them. They may look a little different now since I have gradually changed my style and I have become a much better painter than when I was 22.
The 4th picture down is my version of an African American Santa. Back in the old days, when I did craft shows at schools and churches, I would see the most tacky "art" that was for African Americans and I was repulsed by them. They would just paint the flesh tones pure black with white eyes! If I were an African American I would be so offended by such "art" and to top it all off it would say "Ya'lls A Welcome". So I decided to make an attractive African American Santa Clause. I made about 10 of each of my Santa Clauses with the AA skin tone and they all sold! They were a hit and everyone loved them, Whites and Blacks alike! I hope this post is not offensive to anyone.

Hand Mirrors

Variety of hand mirrors. They are awesome and fun little projects that add style and color to any bathroom!

Floral Lazy Susan - $85-SOLD

Floral Lazy Susan
This is a beautiful piece. It is a Christmas piece. I personally don't think it look very Christmas like. But it is one of my favorite pieces. I did this piece about 18 years ago and it looks great in my Mom's kitchen.

Large Floral Bouquet Wall Art- $185

This piece has an interesting story behind it.
When we lived in Oregon one of our neighbors moved out (we did not know them) and they left a huge pile of stuff for the trash to pick up and there was this table out there. It looked ok. It was just a plain old black table and I was VERY interested in it but was a little too proud to be seen "dumpster diving so I watch that table all day and when the night finally came I made a mad dash to get it. It had a leg missing so I just removed the remaining 3 legs and stared at it for quite sometime. Then a light came on and I remembered a Gail Anderson pattern I had always wanted to do but never had a surface large enough to paint it on. This was the perfect surface so I got started! This is the end result. Lesson learned ... never overlook a fabulous painting surface!
I gave this to my Mom and she has it hanging over her couch!

Samantha Protrait

I had my daughter sit through a long and boring photo shoot so I could get the perfect picture of her to paint. I worked and worked on this piece and in the end.. it turned out looking just like me when I was little. Family members say it looks like Me and my sisters Beverly and Christina. It looks nothing like Samantha! Isn't that funny. Sam looks just like her sisters and I don't see much of myself in her but I guess we must have the same facial features. I printed her picture in black and white so I could trace her main facial features and this is how it turned out. My husband said it looks like she has on lipstick..lol.. and the hair is darker than hers at anytime during the year. In my opinion .. if you look at it upside down .. it looks exactly like my sister Beverly.

I am working on a portrait of my son Zachary. I will share pictures of that one once I am done. This portrait thing is quite difficult!
